"We've been working incredibly hard over the last few months getting the new site live and now the e-book is available, we're delighted with the response we've been getting," commented Jean Hunt, founder of Organiser Publications. When asked about the decision to phase out the printed edition of the Gay Wedding Organizer, Jean said "It was a very hard decision to make. We printed the 4th edition in the most environmentally friendly format that we could, but ultimately it still produces books that need to be recycled, and has a larger carbon footprint due to the need to print and distribute physical copies. Once the current stock has gone (people can order them for free through the site too) we will only have the e-book. It's 100% environmentally friendly," Jean explained, "and with everybody online these days, it makes sense to have a book with hyperlinks embedded into it so that if a couple likes the look of a local gay-friendly wedding business, they can click straight from the book to the supplier's website. We're moving with the times, and these are exciting times indeed!" Jean concluded.
